The first version was created in 1913 and released in 1918. It remains a practical reading, dictionary, and keyboard tool in Taiwan.

Verb-second clauses and noun gender.
In a simple declarative main clause, the finite verb occupies the second constituent position. If a time phrase is first, the subject follows the verb. Second position counts phrases, not individual words.
Jeg kommer i dag. / I dag kommer jeg.I am coming today. / Today I am coming.
