Syntax

UPPERCASE words are placeholders to replace. Brackets in the syntax line describe optional arguments; do not type those brackets literally.

ipconfig [/all]

Example

ipconfig /all

Expected result

Adapter addresses, masks, gateways, DNS and DHCP details.

Notes and traps

/release and /renew change configuration and can interrupt access; they are not read-only diagnostic switches.
